Effective October 1, 2001 every food service establishment must have
at least one full-time equivalent employee who is at least 18 years of
age, and who has passed a food safety exam, which is recognized by
the Department of Health, such as the ServSafe certification course. |
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Program
The ServSafe program is the industry standard in food safety training
and is accepted in almost all United States jurisdictions that require
employee certification, including the state of Massachusetts. |
